William Sidney McSummers was born in Danvers, Massachusetts to a pair of people who didn’t believe in the ideals of marriage and the like— hippies and flower-children through and through. They’ve vowed never to get married, and for whatever reason, William dislikes it. He’s always been the one to be very logical and straightforward, very structured in all his work and mannerisms.
At the age of six, William spotted a cellist shredding on his cello while waiting for the bus to pick him up. A few days later, he received his own, beginning lessons and playing ever since. It’s his release when math gets a little too much and the numbers have his head spinning.
There’s a very good reason that William loves numbers. Mathematics is the same in every language, it never changes. The number system is universal and constant— the structured portion of William’s mind relishes in this.
